Professional Summary

As a Safety Consultant for East Coast Risk Management, I provide support to our clients located in Bedford, Blair, Cambria, and Mifflin Counties in Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining ECRM, I spent 7 years as the EHS Director for Curry Supply Companies in Roaring Spring, PA. During my time with Curry Supply, I was responsible for compliance of Federal and State OSHA, EPA, and DEP regulations for five companies in three different states. I was able to develop the safety program at Curry Supply from the ground up, creating safety policies & procedures, training modules, standardized work instructions, incentive programs, and employee wellness programs. We were able to successfully lower the TRIR rate each year at Curry Supply by implementing effective training tools, increasing education and awareness, and earning employee trust.

I also spent time as the Environmental and Training Manager for American Eagle Paper Mills in Tyrone, PA. While at AEPM, I was responsible for all EPA and DEP environmental compliance including water discharge, air emissions, and chemical containment, and all employee training requirements including new employee orientation, forklift certification, and first responder training.

My areas of experience include employee training, safety policy and procedure writing, environmental regulations, and workman’s compensation claim management. I am also a certified instructor for CPR/First Aid/AED through the American Red Cross and a PEC Basic Safeland instructor.

If you had to pick one meal to eat every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Crab cakes!!! Being born, and raised, in Maryland, I’m extremely picky about my crab cakes. But when prepared correctly, I could eat them every day.

Where was your most memorable vacation?

My wife, Andrea, and I spent our honeymoon at the Whitehouse Sandals Resort in Jamaica. The beaches were breathtaking, the people were awesome, and the food was incredible.
