As the Manager of Business Development with East Coast Risk Management, I work with our clients and prospective clients to help package our services in a way that best fits their organization. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Safety Sciences from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). Throughout my working career, I’ve been fortunate to gain extensive experience in the insurance, risk management, occupational safety, environmental and health professions. I have 20 years experience in the safety and risk management arena with organizations ranging from small/medium firms to large, complex multinational corporations.
My primary focus is to build awareness about ECRM’s capabilities among prospective clients, and develop and maintain long term relationships with current and past clients. I am passionate about ECRM’s model and enjoy bringing clients solutions to help improve and manage the risks they face within their organizations.
Prior to starting with ECRM, I was a Senior Risk Engineering Consultant for Zurich Insurance. I provided risk management services to numerous construction accounts and worked in conjunction with underwriters and claims management to perform risk evaluations for new and existing clients. I also served as the Safety Manager for a large mechanical contractor and a Loss Control Consultant for an insurance agent.
Originally from Johnstown, Pennsylvania, home of the Johnstown floods and the movie “Slap Shot,” I moved to Pittsburgh to start my career in the safety and risk management profession. I am married and have two wonderful children. Outside of my profession, I enjoy many outdoor activities including motorcycle riding (dirt bike), snow skiing, hunting and camping. I also enjoy doing remodeling work and home improvement projects, woodworking and I have handcrafted many pieces of furniture in my home.

If you had to pick one meal to eat every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Probably have to go with burger and fries. Or, maybe steak and shrimp.
Where was your most memorable vacation?
Surprising my family with a trip to Disney World, ski trips to Colorado and lots of quality time spent at Deep Creek Lake.
