| Frank Castillo, MESH, CHSP - Sr. Safety Consultant | ||
Frank Castillo is a Senior Safety Consultant for East
Coast Risk management’s offices located in Raleigh and Chapel Hill, North
Carolina. Frank has an Environmental Safety and Health (MESH) degree from NC
State University as well as Masters of Science in Secondary Education (MSEd)
from the University of Miami.
Prior to joining ECRM, Frank worked as a Safety Professional for WakeMed Health & Hospital system in Raleigh, NC. Frank also was an OSHA Safety Compliance Officer for the state-run NC Department of Labor. Fully competent in reading and writing Spanish, Mr. Castillo has traveled extensively throughout Mexico and is familiar with the customs and behavioral aspects of Latino culture. He resides in Raleigh, NC with his wife, Yolanda, and three children and is active with the local Boy Scouts Council, the Knights of Columbus and the American Red Cross.

| Chris Palmisano, MESH, IFSAC - Sr. Safety Consultant | ||
Chris Palmisano is a Senior Safety Consultant for East Coast Risk Management’s offices located in Raleigh and Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Chris earned his Certification as a Manager of Environmental Health and Safety from NC State University. Chris also graduated from the North Carolina Justice Academy’s Instructional System Design and General Instruction Training Program at Wake Technical Community College. In 2000, Chris attained his International Accreditation in Fire Sciences from the Bucks County Community College in Pennsylvania.
Prior to starting with ECRM, Chris served the City of Philadelphia as a Fire Lieutenant in the Philadelphia Fire Department’s Haz-Mat Administrative Unit. While there, Chris conducted investigations at countless emergencies and managed the mitigation of many hazardous material incidents. He also conducted inspections of local businesses to ensure regulatory compliance. As an Instructor at the Philadelphia Fire College, Chris mentored and educated Fire Fighters. He also taught for the National Fire Academy in Emmetsburg Maryland and at the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy. Most recently, Chris has served as a Safety Consultant for the North Carolina Department of Corrections and OSHA as a Compliance Officer in North Carolina, where Chris learned the legal aspects of OSHA citations. While at OSHA Chris conducted investigations and provide training and consultative guidance to all types of employers in general industry and construction.
Chris enjoys the challenge of designing and delivering customized safety training and safety programs. Because of Chris’s wide range of experience, he has developed a knack for targeting hazards, issues of noncompliance and other unsafe conditions that may lead to accidents and serious injuries.
