Jordan Farmer - Marketing Representative

Jordan serves as a Marketing Representative working out of East Coast Risk Management’s corporate office in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.

Jordan earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Business Marketing. Prior to joining the East Coast team, Jordan worked as a Marketing and Promotions Intern with Iron City Brewing Company in Pittsburgh, PA. While at Iron City, Jordan worked to promote the brand on both local and national levels.

In his capacity with ECRM, Jordan reaches out to current clients and prospective clients alike, marketing and promoting East Coast Risk Management’s wide array of services, while keeping them constantly up to date with new services that East Coast can offer.

Gary Hilmar - Safety Consultant

Gary serves as a Senior Safety Consultant with East Coast Risk Management’s corporate office in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. Gary graduated from Wittenberg University with a degree in Biology and has studied at Case-Western Reserve University in their MBA Program.

Gary brings a great deal of experience to East Coast Risk Management. He has worked as a safety and human resource professional for his entire career spanning many years. Gary’s first job was as an industrial hygienist with a nationally prominent insurance carrier. From this start his career progressed through workers compensation specialty positions within the insurance industry to corporate safety and personnel director positions in private industry for large national construction/manufacturing firms. Safety has been a constant in Gary’s career but also included is a period of almost twenty years as a corporate manager of personnel and risk management. Additionally, he has had responsibility for EPA services at various times in his career. Gary headed for many years the safety sub-committee of a large nation trade association of companies involved in heavy construction of power plants, steel mills, refineries and similar facilities. Companies he has been involved with have achieved regional and national safety recognition for the results of their safety programs. This diverse background serves Gary well as he interacts with East Coast Risk Management clients addressing the safety and related issues of the workforce.

Gary works very closely with East Coast Risk Management clients in the Southwest Pennsylvania area to provide safety services tailored specifically to the needs of a diverse group of clients. The services are primarily in the area of workers compensation, fleet liability, public liability and property damage exposures. Manufacturing, construction and retail and social services are typical services provided by the clients for which Gary is responsible. As with many East Coast Risk Management clients, personnel and human resources issues are closely intertwined with the traditional safety services.

Cara Mia Londino, Esq. - Human Resources Manager

Cara Mia Londino is a Human Resource Manager working in East Coast Risk Management’s corporate office located in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.

In 2005, Cara graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s in Human Resources from Point Park College of Pittsburgh. Cara then went on to earn a law degree from Duquesne University. Cara is experienced in all areas of Human Resources including EEO laws, ADA, Fair Labor Standard Act, FLMA, COBRA, hiring practices, fitness for duty, employee handbooks, compensation and benefits.

Randi Makela - Workers' Compensation Claims Coordinator

Randi is one of ECRM’s ‘front-line’ claim specialists. Randi is usually our clients’ first point of contact when a work-related injury occurs. Here is where the crucial early-intervention and control of a workers’ compensation claim begins. Randi is responsible for incident investigation, directing patient care, managing the medical treatment, and coordinating early return-to-work. Randi follows the progress of an injured employee’s recovery, until a full duty work release and discharge from care are obtained.

ECRM clients have come to trust and depend on Randi for pro-active assistance and advice from the very outset of a workers’ compensation claim.

Matthew C. Palmer, GSP - Senior Safety Consultant

Matthew Palmer is a Senior Safety Consultant working in East Coast Risk Management’s corporate office located in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. Matt is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Safety Sciences.

Prior to joining East Coast Risk Management, Matt worked for Saint-Gobain Ceramics as their Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator where he was heavily involved in all health, workers’ compensation, and safety operations.

Matt has had the opportunity to see safety from a variety of positions in a variety of industries. These experiences, along with his education, have crafted Matt into a very knowledgeable and competent safety professional.

Brian Perkins Human Resource Consultant

Brian is a Human Resource Consultant working out of East Coast Risk Management’s Corprate Office located in North Huntingdon, PA.

Brian earned his Bachelor of Science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with majors in Industrial & Labor Relations, Business Management and Real Estate. Brian is currently working on his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management at Duquesne University’s Donahue Graduate School of Business.

Prior to joining ECRM, Brian worked for Precision Defense Services, Inc. as a Human Resources Generalist where he was directly responsible for all Human Resources functions. Brian is a member of the Society of Human Resource Managers and Pittsburgh Human Resources Assoication.

Brian now consults with ECRM client employers on all of their Human Resources needs.

Gordon Peterson, PE - Manager of Environmental Health and Safety

Gordon Peterson serves as the Manager of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) for East Coast Risk Management. Gordon holds a B.A. in Communications and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. He earned an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois. Gordon also received one of the initial Cray supercomputer grants from the National Science Foundation and was involved in a post degree computer modeling program of kinetic groundwater transport at the University of Illinois, Stanford University and the University of Waterloo in Canada.

Gordon has more than 25 years experience in the EH&S and Engineering Services arena working both within the consulting and construction industry as well as directly for a Fortune 500 multinational manufacturing firm. His unique relationships with numerous key firms in the Environmental and Engineering services sector have proven a valuable asset to ECRM clients, in both large and small projects. Gordon is a licensed Professional Engineer who participates in several industrial advocacy groups and professional societies.

Prior to joining East Coast Risk Management, Gordon held the positions of Director, EH&S, and Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing EH&S, for a large multinational corporation responsible for over 30 manufacturing plants and 700 retail operations worldwide. This position required a broad range of EH&S activities, acquisition/divestitures of businesses, and capital projects in the chemical, coatings and glass manufacturing and distribution sectors. Prior to that, Gordon moved from the project engineering level of a small environmental consulting firm to the position of Senior VP of Operations with one of the largest environmental engineering and remediation companies in North America. This experience enabled Gordon to develop a thorough understanding of the compliance requirements and risks involved in all areas of the industrial sector regardless of a company’s size or limitations. It has given him specific exposure to the compliance needs of the petrochemical, health services, transportation, energy and both light and heavy manufacturing sectors.

Angel Ranallo - Workers' Compensation Claims Coordinator

Angel is ECRM’s ‘front-line’ claim specialist. Angel is usually our clients’ first point of contact when a work-related injury occurs. Here is where the crucial early-intervention and control of a workers’ compensation claim begins. Angel is responsible for incident investigation, directing patient care, managing the medical treatment, and coordinating early return-to-work. Angel follows the progress of an injured employee’s recovery, until a full duty work release and discharge from care are obtained.

Angel has both an Associate Degree in Business and in Medical Assistance. She came to ECRM with fourteen years experience as a workers’ compensation case manager. Angel has worked for both Healthsouth and Highmark, in their Medical Consulting division. As a result, Angel now has excellent relationships with workers’ comp physicians in western Pennsylvania.

ECRM clients have come to trust and depend on Angel for pro-active assistance and advice from the very outset of a workers’ compensation claim.

Eileen Satler - Workers' Compensation Claims Manager

Eileen comes to ECRM with over twenty years of insurance related experience. She began her career handling multi-line claims for The Hartford, and then specialized in workers’ compensation over the next fifteen years. Eileen has managed workers’ compensation for insurance carriers and self-insured employers.

During the insurance industry reorganizations of the 1990’s Eileen also ran her own business as an insurance claim consultant. Most recently, she spent six years at the UPMC Health System, the largest employer in western Pennsylvania, as their in-house Workers’ Compensation Specialist. There, in addition to workers’ comp, Eileen was involved in health, safety, liability, human resource, benefits, and disability legal issues.

Eileen now consults with ECRM client employers to oversee their workers’ compensation program and ensure best practices and outcomes for their business.

Lori Sciulli - Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist

Lori came to ECRM from UPMC WorkPartners where she handled the work injuries for the City of Pittsburgh Police Department, working closely with the FOP and City Administration in a collaborative effort to reduce their work injuries, ensure a safe return to work for Officers and reduce legacy claims. Prior to UPMC WP, Lori worked in the Occupational Health Department at Mercy Hospital coordinating care for hospital employees as well as outside clients who suffered on the job injuries. Before that, Lori was the in-house Workers’ Compensation Case Manager at Allegheny General Hospital, responsible for providing front line management for the work injuries of the employees from the onset of injury until return to regular or modified duty work.Lori has also spent time as a Vocational Consultant for CorVel Corporation providing vocational efforts to various clients in an attempt to bring older, more difficult cases to fruition.She received her B.A. in Psychology from Edinboro University.
